Full official description
Firth Park is a campground set within heritage ornamental trees. Firth Park is popular with a range of forest users including caravan travellers, 4WD enthusiasts and mountain bike riders. Facilities include toilets, horse yards and a dam. Andersons Mill walk provides a short 90 minute return walk, starting at Firth Park and heading to the heritage Andersons Mill site. Located 88 kilometres from Melbourne. Follow the Calder Highway to the township of Woodend. At Woodend head west towards Daylesford on the C317 for 13.5km then turn left down James Lane just west of Tylden. Follow this for 8.6km, passing through Trentham East to reach the James Lane intersection with Oconnells Road. Turn Left down Oconnells Road and after 1.3km bear right onto Firth Road. Follow Firth Road for 3.5 kilometres then turn left on the Firth Park Access Track to arrive at Firth Park. Closure: Closed due to planned fuel reduction burn being conducted in this area.
