No rating yetBe first to reviewJust 35 minutes from Mount Gambier in the heart of Coonawarra wine country, Penola is a charming country town filled with cute cafes, speciality shops and unique attractions. Perfect as a base from which to explore the Coonawarra regions’ many cellar doors, Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park also offers proximity to the very best of South Australia’s amazing Limestone Coast. With spacious 1 and 2-bedroom cabins, powered and unpowered sites, ensuite sites, as well as options for backpackers and long-stay workers, the park has accommodation options to suit families, couples and anyone travelling in groups. Nestled among magnificent gum trees and established local vines, Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park is within easy walking distance of Penola town centre, which includes an IGA supermarket and tourist information centre. Facilities inside the park include a large guest laundry, open-air barbecue areas, fire-pits and reliable Wi-Fi throughout. The park has always been dog-friendly and exudes a quiet country feel in keeping with its location. Travelling from Mount Gambier on the Riddoch Highway, the park is located at the entrance to Penola on the left, or from Naracoorte on the right once you’ve made your way through town.
